TO THIS DAY,
We’ve never had the opportunity to experience a Music Festival in our neighbor state, Tennessee. Of course we all know that Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival is, and has been for years now one of the most popular and versatile music festivals this nation has to offer. The festival organizers always seem to choose a great variety of artists. And the best part of this whole ordeal is that the festival is set to take place for 4 days in Manchester. Block out your schedule from June 8-11th, because Roo is right around the corner. The madness is taking place on a 700-acre farm in Manchester, so we’re intrigued to see how this will all take place. Let’s get into the artists performing this mysteriously wonderful festival. Below you will see the Lineup Poster stacked with a roster of incredible artists.
We like to play this game where we choose our top 10-15 artists from a Music Festival’s lineup. Let’s see who made The Charlotte Sessions’ Cut for Bonnaroo 2017: Herobust, BadbadnotGood, Major Lazer, Portugal The Man, Getter, Ganja White Night, Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Weeknd, Tory Lanez, Flatbush Zombies, Glass Animals, Big Gigantic, G Jones, Flume, and Jon Bellion. How’s that for variety? We’ve got Dubstep, HipHop, Alternative Rock, Chill Electronic Music, Jazzy Electronic Music, Rock n Roll, R&B, and Pop, Trap Music, and Instrumental Jam bands. And as you can see, there will even be a Comedy Theater on site featuring comedians like Hannibal Buress and Mike Lawrence, among many more. But wait, there’s actually a lot, lot more.
This festival is 100% Camping Friendly, which means that, yes! you may camp at Bonnaroo! Not only is there a cool general area where festival goers can set up shop, there are also several other areas such as The Grove which is a popular spot to set up hammocks, watch the stars, and catch some overflowing tunes from the festival. What happens if you leave something important at the house, like more water bottles, sunscreen, or a tent? Well don’t fret! There are several General Stores around at your disposal. Not only are there cool spots to chill, there’s also great food to munch on, such as Hamageddon & Bacon Land, The Grind, and The Foodtruck Oasis. Last but not least, there will be several fun activities in store such as parades, exercise and yoga sessions, The Red Bull Music Academy Bass Camp, and a Tap Lounge featuring live music.
You can check out the festival day schedule below. More info to come, but for now, you can Purchase your Festival Passes Here.
