Brace yourselves ladies and gentlemen because I’ve got something special to share with all of you today. As I make my way down interstate 75 towards my new home in St. Petersburg, Florida, I can’t help but think of all the incredible Dubstep friendly shows and Festivals that I’m about to experience in the sunshine state. I’ve always wanted to live in Florida, so it makes me ecstatic to say that I’m living out one of my lifelong dreams. But I’m not the only person from North Carolina making their way down to the Florida this week! What do I and a good group of friends from Charlotte and Virginia have in common? We’re all heading to Boca Ratón for the second installment of Forbidden Kingdom Music Festival! Below is a little guide that we put together to get you all prepared for the magic and mystery that is set to take place this weekend at the Sunset Cove Amphitheater.
Okay hold up. You and I are looking at the same lineup right? What’s got me most excited about Forbidden Kingdom are all of incredible household names that I’ve gotten to experience in the past. A few sets that have got me really excited are Cookie Monsta, Al Ross b2b Bommer, Tvboo and his comedy show, Yakz b2b OG Nixin, Monxx, Marauda, Wooli, and Excision. But honestly, the entire lineup is ferocious, so there’s no way you can have anything but a good time at year two of Forbidden Kingdom. Here are the set times for Saturday and Sunday so you can plan your weekend accordingly.
Not to mention, this year’s Forbidden Kingdom will also feature a very intricate silent disco stage to given Florida Allstars such as Tasconix, Zapato, Nugg, Stayns, Bryzergold, and several others the opportunity to showcase their talents. I’m excited to check out many of these rising producers and DJs perform for the first time. I know they’re about to bring the fire to Forbidden Kingdom.
If you thought Forbidden, Cyberian and Silent Disco stages were the only ones where you could check out some incredible Dubstep, let me throw one more awesome stage into the mix! Now presenting, The Village Stage. You can heck out top notch performances by artists like D3V, Big N Slim, and Bonker.
Last but certainly not least, if there’s still an ounce of innocence inside that kindred spirit of yours, then please take a moment to read the Forbidden Kingdom tale known as The True Enemy. I think it’s really creative that the team behind FK created a narrative to complement their massive festival. You can enjoy the adventures, feats, and trials and tribulations of characters such as Alana, Quill and King Cornivorous by either reading the story or listening to the audio book! Take your pick!
Who are you most excited to see at Forbidden Kingdom? We are only days away from embarking on one of the greatest journeys of all time. I hope to see you there! Click Right here to Purchase yourself a festival pass for the weekend!
