A few days ago, I was fortunate enough to hear a special new collaboration between one of my favorite alien test subjects, the one and only Liquid Stranger, and Atlanta native producer and vocalist Leah Culver, in a live setting unlike any I’ve ever experienced. The Buku Music & Arts Projects wouldn’t have been the same without the presence of the Space Boss. Liquid Stranger is an absolute favorite among the fellow headbangers and moonpeople residing in North Carolina. This special new creation is a beautiful representation of the yearning and undying admiration between two passionate lovers. From a completely subjective point of view, “Burn Like Sun” sounds like the soundtrack to a compelling love story similar to that of Romeo and Juliet – two people who aren’t supposed to be together, even to the point where they risk their lives to be with one another.
As Leah utters the beautiful chorus, “Let’s burn like the sun“, Wakaan fanatics from all over the world will come to realize that the lovers’ love for one another is more important than strolling around this earth where evil forces will express their hate and disapproval of their union – and that’s when the dragon zooms into the scene and shoots a massive fireball directly at the lovers. What happens next? Give me a few years to finish writing the script – but in the mean time, enjoy this tune that features the best of both worlds. Thank you Leah and Martin for your never ending supply of incredibly fresh music. You can enjoy another twenty nine new musical creations on Liquid Stranger’s newest project: INFINITY.
