Saturday Double Whammy: Slushii & Loudpvck THEN HullabaloO & Detox Unit

Ladies and gentlemen are you all ready for one of the most exciting Saturday’s since that Breakaway Festival/Subtronics combo in October? Well look no further because the Queen City is the absolute place to be this Saturday, November 11th. What’s going down now you ask? Well we have a double whammy of live Bass music experiences for all you good people of the Carolinas! No one likes ending the party at midnight right? Well we’ve got some news to share with you! And it’s all thanks to Sugar Society, Disco Donnie Presents, and Ghost Division.

First of all, the infamous Fillmore Charlotte is hosting one of the youngest, groundbreaking producers in the Bass music scene to get the night started! It’s been almost a year since Florida based producer, Slushii, has made his way to the QC for a night filled with smiles, mind shattering visuals, huge quantities of Bass, and most of all his unique sound design that has garnered the attention of big names like Skrillex and Diplo. Back then Slushii was opening up for Marshmello. Flash forward a whole year later and now the human shaped freezey beverage is headlining his own show, which actually features its own wide array of powerful local support. We’ve got the likes of Fayetville’s DJ Casio, the Queen City veteran who often outperforms the headliner of the evening, Freaky, and last but not least, one of my favorite human beings of all time, Jordan Castle, who recently got a crowd of Greensboro ravers movin’ and groovin’ at the Create. Halloween show with Cookie Monsta and Doctor P. Take these three acts and sprinkle a little bit of LA trap Lord Loudpvck’s heavy style and you’ve got one hell of a pre-Slushii lineup! The show starts at 8:00 PM, and will likely end around midnight! You can Purchase Tickets Here to save money today! But wait… The night doesn’t end there.

If you’ve been keeping up with the local scene, then you’ve probably heard of emerging promotional group, Ghost Division, who stepped up to the plate and brought The Widdler to the QC back in September, and followed up with an exciting Dubamine show in October; both shows took place at the oldest venue on the East Coast, the Milestone. This venue carries that grungy, old school, throwback vibes with ample room for the limited 150 guests to move around, or start a mosh-pit if they’re feeling rowdy. You’ll be dying to keep dancing once Slushii is over, that’s why Ghost Division is answering everyone’s pleas by bringing the trippy, funkadelic styles of HullabaloO and Detox Unit. The local wobble freaks have been expressing their deep excitement for this intimate, one of a kind show, which is set to clear minds and spirits as friends and loved ones dance the night away. After minutes of exploring the Reno based producer’s Soundcloud, I can comfortably say that HullabaloO’s sound design is next level, and something that fans of Tipper, Toadface and Yheti would thoroughly enjoy. On the other hand, Detox Unit is a force to be reckoned with from the Austin, Texas area who is more than thrilled to be debut his strange and unique style in the Queen City. ALSO, we’ve got the likes of Wilmington’s Psynatra, along with the one and only MoffMang coming through for some incredible opening sets, should you arrive early. You can’t go wrong with some late night wubs after the Slush master folks.
