[Watch Here] Jay Sinatra – Illustrations & The Space (Music Videos)

Charlotte Hip-Hop Won’t Stop

Originally from Queens New York, raised in Myrtle Beach, now living in the Queen City, Jay Sinatra finds musical inspiration in every town he calls “home.” At the end of 2015 he dropped a boom bap styled track titled “Illustrations.” The music video opens with a short clip of Malcolm X giving a speech about self defense before Jay tears apart the first verse with lines like “I paint pictures like I’m Vangot with more soul, got the whole east coast on my fuckin torso.” His movement, Independent House Music is definitely something to keep your eyes on this year.

So let’s flash forward to Jay’s newest release on this first month of 2016. While we like Illustrations, we’re much bigger fans of the flow displayed on this banger titled “The Space.” It’s completely 360 to what you heard above. The beat is smooth, it’s easy to sing and vibe out to, and best of all, the production work on the video is SPOT ON. It was a trippy experience, and we can’t wait to hear what else Jay Sinatra has in store for you all, the good people of the internet.
