Who is Bazanji? Get Down With the Carolina Prodigy [New Single Release]

I’ll never forget the Tuesday night that my buddy Kyle introduced me to the likes of a talented heavy hitting, yet soulfully smooth rapper from North Carolina named Bazanji. The unique and unfamiliar name slowly rang in my ears as my longtime middle school friend told me a little bit about one of his favorite rappers. “He goes to Chapel Hill and he’s working on becoming a dentist“, but on the side Shad Albarazanji, has a deep passion for creating music that reaches all different types of audiences. It wasn’t long after Kyle showed me tunes such as “Fed Up” and “Lights Go Down” when I looked over at him and told him I was a fan. I have a huge amount of respect for anyone who wants to add to the underground music culture of this beautiful state – Bazanji is a prime example of how a man can have multiple hustles to pay the bills and avenues to display art, his lyrics on “The City” speak for themselves “So go and pour another drink just to get away, we gotta live it up, Carolina here to stay.”

I want you to do me the smallest favor my friend. Please close your eyes for a moment, and think about all the blessings that you have in your life at this very moment. A blessing could be an object, and opportunity, a job, a mission. Now let’s think about all the beautiful people in this world who we can consider to be a blessing and a half? It’s important to remember that your mental state matters to others, that this race can’t be won on its own, that the universe has a plan for you and every soul that motivates you on a weekly, monthly, or even yearly basis is a blessing on its own. When I hear the heart warming chorus of Bazanji’s friend and musical collaborator Alexi Blue, “And when I count my blessings, I count you twice all day all night” followed by the special words of Bazanji, I can’t help but think about the unique individuals who have given my life more meaning, purpose, and drive, the people I will always love the most. I’m definitely glad that Kyle put this artist in my life – you’ve got my support Bazanji. Now the real question is… When can I hear this man perform live?

If you like what you heard, then please feel free to support Bazanji on his social media! Here’s his   –   –  –
